The Muk Report
quick updatei am taking september off to work on new material, but will be playing on monday, 10/13, at
cb's 313 gallery. the nice people at cb's get pretty fucking pissed when they book an act and, like, 3 people show up. and can you blame 'em? that being said, it would be nice to see some faces out there. and would it kill you to bring a friend or two? sheesh.
speaking of
wesley willis, my condolences go out to family, friends, and fans of a true original. i may be doing a cover of "casper the homosexual friendly ghost" in the near future. stay, umm, tuned.
on the chartsan attentive fan has alerted me that my song "better in the morning" has made the most-played list on the
alt.country station over at ever-popular
radio@netscape. pretty nifty!
show re-capwell, i delivered as promised. saturday's show at
freddy's started late, but was complete with extra drinking and a weezer song. i had the great fortune to catch the sets of
beaucoup blue and
john pinamonti. in a city full of shitty, impersonal clubs, freddy's is truly an oasis and i'm proud to call it my home base.
quick updatei am playing a show this saturday at
freddy's backroom. i will most likely not play another show for a month or so, so try to catch this one. at the behest of some loyal fans, i have promised to drink more and maybe throw in a weezer song. freddy's is no place to play sober. true dat.
